“Vroom, crash, bang, and pow," just a few verbs to describe the latest installment of The Fast and Furious franchise, The Fate of the Furious.

The gang is back in a globe trotting adventure spanning Cuba, New York, and Russia in an attempt to avoid nuclear warfare. Family values and trust are laid on the line as Dominic Toretto (portrayed by Vin Diesel) crosses his team. Fans are introduced to Charlize Theron’s devilish character, Cipher; an infamous hacker that even the dark web fears.

Let's be honest, nobody goes into a Fast and Furious movie expecting an Oscar contender. If you do, you're going to be severely disappointed. Watching Fate is equivalent to eating your favorite candy bar: you know it's junk but you get pleasure from it anyway, and you keep coming back for more. Armed with a few funny one-liners, high octane vehicles, and a drive to undermine Cipher’s plan, the audience gets exactly what they pay for.

The Fate of the Furious kicks off the Summer blockbuster season. Go ahead, buckle up, and enjoy the ride! It's worth taking.
